Carmen Atkins
Carmen Atkins, Esquire, is an Associate with our firm, who represents clients in all areas of immigration law, including removal proceedings before the Immigration Court and before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services ("USCIS") on family-based petitions, applications for residency, asylum applications, and applications for citizenship. Ms. Atkins also represents clients with employment and investment-based immigration cases.
Ms. Atkins earned her Juris Doctor from University of California at Berkeley in Berkeley and also received a B.S. from Cornell University. In law school, Ms. Atkins received the Brian M. Sax award for excellence in clinical advocacy, awarded to the student with the most outstanding performance out of all the law school's clinics. In practice, two of the judgments in Ms. Atkins' cases have received awards as the most progressive judgments in immigration law in Latin America. Ms. Atkins is Peruvian and Nicaraguan and is fluent in Spanish and English. She also speaks Italian, French, and Portuguese.
Ms. Atkins has a passion for immigration and she joined Revilla Law Firm, P.A. to help those who wish to better their lives by migrating to the U.S. As an immigrant herself, she knows the trials and tribulations associated with coming to the U.S., and she treats each client with compassion. She is also committed to providing the highest level of service to her clients.
She is a member of the California Bar Association and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
